Disappointment on a Plate: My Experience at Cibo Gateway 2

My recent visit to Cibo Gateway 2 left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. The BEEF & SAUSAGE MEATBALLS SPAGHETTINI POLPETTONE were a disappointment. While I expected a burst of flavors, the meatballs were dry and lacked seasoning. They could have benefited from a more robust sauce to bring them to life.

PENNE AL TELEFONO was another letdown. The dish was bland, and the sauce was too watery. It lacked the creamy richness I was hoping for. 

The arancini gorgonzola with spice mushroom also missed the mark. The arancini were greasy and the gorgonzola overpowered the dish, masking the delicate flavors of the mushrooms.

Overall, my experience at Cibo Gateway 2 was disappointing. The dishes lacked the finesse and flavor that one would expect from an Italian restaurant. I hope they can improve and deliver a more satisfying dining experience in the future.

If you're on the lookout for a hidden gem in Marikina, Donut Wall by Hazel is a must-visit! While the name might suggest a focus on sweet treats, the savory offerings are what truly stole my heart. 

I had the pleasure of trying their Crab and Shrimp Pasta, and let me tell you, it was an unforgettable experience.

The first bite instantly transported me to a coastal paradise. The combination of succulent crab and plump shrimp perfectly balanced the rich, creamy sauce. Each strand of pasta was cooked to al dente perfection, holding up beautifully to the flavorful medley of seafood. The subtle hint of garlic and fresh herbs elevated the dish, making it a symphony of flavors.

What stood out most was the freshness of the ingredients. The seafood tasted as if it had been plucked straight from the ocean, and the homemade pasta added an authentic touch that you rarely find. The portion size was generous, ensuring that every bite was as delightful as the last.

If you're in Marikina and looking to satisfy your Korean food cravings, look no further than Sajang Chicken. Their dosirak package is an absolute must-try! 🍗🍱

I had the pleasure of indulging in their dosirak package, which includes 8 pieces of chicken with two delicious flavors: yangnyeom and soy garlic. The yangnyeom chicken was a perfect blend of sweet and spicy, hitting all the right notes, while the soy garlic chicken was incredibly savory with just the right amount of garlic kick. Each piece was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, making every bite a delightful experience.

Alongside the mouthwatering chicken, the package came with 2 cups of rice, 1 cup of kimchi, and 1 cup of fishcake. The rice was fluffy and cooked to perfection, providing the ideal base for the flavorful chicken. 

The kimchi added a refreshing, tangy crunch that complemented the rich flavors of the chicken, while the fishcake provided a unique, savory twist to the meal. To top it all off, the package included 2 bottles of Coke, making it the perfect set for a satisfying lunch or dinner.

In summary, Sajang Chicken Marikina's dosirak package is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious, well-rounded Korean meal. The combination of crispy chicken, flavorful sides, and refreshing drinks makes it a truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommend! 👍✨
